In that case, you will want to filter it before drinking. There might be a spring or body of water near by. In addition, there will not be any drinking water supplied. You will have to deal with your own poo by burying it or packing it out with you. You have to bring everything that you will need and pack out everything that you brought. The only thing provided is an un-designated patch of land. When you disperse camp, you are on your own. Individual forests might have their own restrictions, so it is always best to check with them before setting up camp. In general, you can camp anywhere in a national forest unless posted otherwise. Most people do not know that camping is available, many times for free, outside of designated campgrounds on most public land.
